Yoshino-Kumano National Park straddles three prefectures, Mie, Nara, and Wakayama. It consists of the Kumano River, which flows into the Kumano Sea while eroding, the middle and lower reaches of the Kitayama River, the coastline from the Kumano Sea to the Karekinada Sea, where you can see a variety of coastal topography, and Mt. Nachi, which has been protected by the ancient history of Kumano worship.
In addition to the vast nature of mountains, rivers, and the sea, which are made up of the ``Yugen mountains'', ``deep valleys'', and the ``Nankai where the Kuroshio flows'', the World Heritage Site ``Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range'', the sacred grounds of Shugendo and the ``Ari no Kumano Pilgrimage''. Recently, cycling using the "Cycle Train" on the JR Kinokuni Line that runs along the coast of Yoshino-Kumano National Park, marine sports such as scuba diving where you can enjoy the world's northernmost table coral, and UNESCO Eco Park. Trekking in Osugidani, which has been registered, is also attracting attention.
