Gero City Ecotourism Promotion Council:
Gero City has been selected as a pioneering DMO, and is promoting the "E-DMO" in which the DMO and the Gero City Ecotourism Promotion Council work together to promote ecotourism. In addition, as an area selected as one of the top 100 sustainable tourist destinations in the world, we can propose ecotours and experience products that make use of nature and satoyama, such as Gero Onsen, one of the "Three Most Famous Hot Springs in Japan," and the "Osaka Waterfall Tour," which has been certified as a NEXT GIFU HERITAGE Gifu Future Heritage.

The town of Kamiichi is notable for its ancient history, rich culture and abundant nature. Ooiwasan Nissekiji, a temple established in 725 that has long flourished as a place of worship for practitioners of tantric Buddhism.Nissekiji temple also offers workshops where visitors can experience ancient Buddhist practices.
