You can also enjoy the inns and hot springs of Gero Onsen, one of the "Three Most Famous Hot Springs of Japan," and Hida Kosaka Onsenkyo, a designated hot spring resort for the public.

The town of Kamiichi is notable for its ancient history, rich culture and abundant nature. Ooiwasan Nissekiji, a temple established in 725 that has long flourished as a place of worship for practitioners of tantric Buddhism.Nissekiji temple also offers workshops where visitors can experience ancient Buddhist practices.
