Tourism EXPO JAPAN 2024
Taiki Town Council for Regional Development
Taiki Tonw is located along the "Kumano Kodo Iseji" that connects Ise Jingu Shrine and Kumano Sanzan, and is a town that has the Misezaka Pass and the World Heritage Tsuzurato Pass and the Nisaka Pass. These two sacred places have been said since ancient times, "seven times in Ise and three times in Kumano," and for Japan, they are places that everyone in Japan longs to visit.
In Daiki-cho, travelers walking along the Kumano Kodo Iseji can stay at the agricultural, forestry, and fishery experience guesthouses scattered along the pilgrimage route, and prepare local cuisine and various experiences using the rich natural blessings of mountains, rivers, and the sea. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the World Heritage Site, and we would like to introduce the "Pilgrimage to the Holy Land that Heals the Heart, a Town that Connects Ise and Kumano" so that you can experience the scenery, history, and culture of Iseji on the Kumano Kodo.
