Tourism EXPO Japan 2026

INAGI CITY TOURISM BUREAU

Inagi City is a city blessed with agricultural resources such as its specialty "Inagi Pears" and rich nature, despite being located just about 30 minutes away from the city center. The city currently flags four pillars of tourism—"Satoyama/Nostalgia," "Mechanic," "Sports," and "Amusement"—and is promoting tourism attraction through diverse approaches.
Inside the city, there are scattered parks frequently used as filming locations for movies and TV dramas, as well as monuments of anime content designed by mechanical designer Kunio Okawara; furthermore, the city boasts facilities with strong crowd-pulling power such as "Yomiuriland" and "TOKYO GIANTS TOWN." Additionally, as a "Bicycle City," infrastructures such as the Tama River Cycling Course and the Minamitama One Kansen Road are well-developed, and the city is also focusing on creating an environment for cycle tourism by installing shared cycle ports.
Based on these diverse tourism resources, the Inagi City Tourism Association cooperates with the government and local business operators to refine content, disseminate information, and plan and operate events. Currently, we are expanding a digital map featuring tourist spots and restaurants within the city, and by regularly holding digital stamp rallies that utilize this map, we are promoting excursions throughout the city and working to enhance industrial promotion.
