KIYOSE CITY TOURISM ASSOCIATION

Kiyose City is a compact city with unique potential, including urban agriculture such as carrots, which boast the highest production volume in Tokyo, a concentration of medical and welfare institutions, and the lush original landscape of Musashino. Although our city is not a so-called tourist destination, as the demand for 'micro-tourism' enjoyed nearby increases, new product development and tourism promotion utilizing local resources are attracting attention. Established in 2024, the Kiyose City Tourism Association aims to 'revitalize the local economy' through tourism. We are continuously creating attractive products that utilize local strengths, such as 'Kiyose-bo (Kinpira Gobo flavor)' using specialty carrots and burdock roots, sustainable 'Kiyose-bo (Corn Potage flavor)' using whole imperfect corn including the cob, and 'Kiyohachi Cider' using honey harvested from the apiary on the roof of Kiyose City Hall. By gaining recognition from many people and building a wider network starting with local agricultural, commercial, and industrial operators, we will develop Kiyose into a destination for 'micro-tourism'.
