Tourism EXPO Japan 2026

KIYOSE CITY TOURISM ASSOCIATION

Kiyose City is a compact city with unique potential, boasting the highest production volume of carrots in Tokyo, a dense concentration of medical and welfare institutions, and the lush, pristine landscape of Musashino. While our city is not a traditional tourist destination, the rising demand for easily accessible "micro-tourism" has brought significant attention to our regional resources for tourism promotion and new product development. Established in 2024, the Kiyose City Tourism Association aims to revitalize the local economy through tourism. We continue to introduce attractive, locally sourced products, such as "Kiyose-bo (kinpira burdock root flavor)" made with our specialty carrots and burdock root, eco-friendly "Kiyose-bo (corn potage flavor)" that utilizes whole, out-of-spec corn cobs right down to the core, and "Kiyohachi Cider" using honey harvested from the rooftop apiary of Kiyose City Hall. We aim to gain broad recognition and build an extensive network—starting with local agricultural, commercial, and industrial businesses—to develop Kiyose into a premier destination for "micro-tourism."
