Tourism EXPO Japan 2026
Shinagawa Tourism Association
Shinagawa has carried its name since the Heian period, and it flourished as a port for Edo Bay during the Kamakura period. With the advent of the Edo period, the Tokaido Post Station system was established, making Shinagawa the very first station on the route. The area remains lined with historic temples and shrines, preserving the atmosphere of the former post town.
The Shinagawa Tourism Association aims to revitalize the local area and foster industrial development through the promotion of tourism. For over 25 years, in cooperation with local residents, various organizations, and Shinagawa Ward, the association has worked to discover and promote new tourism resources, including the ward's history, culture, nature, industry, and technology.
Shukuba Travel (Shukuba Plus LLC) is a travel agency with its roots in Guesthouse Shinagawa-shuku. We promote sustainable tourism that respects local daily life and culture, proposing a new approach to travel that energizes both travelers and local communities. In 2026, we were awarded the GSTC Certification, an international standard for sustainable tourism. Through community-focused tour planning and custom-made travel arrangements, we use the medium of travel to strive for a sustainable future where local communities and multiculturalism coexist, working in partnership with the Shinagawa Tourism Association.
