From this September to November, Iwate Prefecture will hold the autumn tourism campaign "Autumn is Fleeting- Wander Iwate."
One of the highlights of Iwate's pleasant autumn climate is the Michinoku Coastal Trail, which has garnered attention both domestically and internationally.
The Michinoku Coastal Trail is one of Japan's longest trails, stretching over 1,000 kilometers, and offers a continuous series of beautiful landscapes unique to the Tohoku Pacific coast, including dynamic seas, rivers, villages, and forests.
You will be able to experience new encounters and the unique beauty of autumn created by nature during your walking journey.
