Tourism EXPO Japan 2025 Aichi/Central Japan

TOHOKU TOURISM PROMOTION ORGANIZATION / EAST JAPAN RAILWAY COMPANY

The Tohoku region is rich in nature, wonderful tourism resources, and culture of tradition and food. Mysterious scenes created by the power of nature and time beyond human control.
Tohoku has the most varied seasons in Japan, and every season is truly worth seeing. Spring is the season of cherry blossoms, which are beautiful and gorgeous and can be enjoyed over a long period of time; summer is the season of passionate festivals surrounded by lush deep green; autumn is the season when the mountains are covered in fiery red and yellow; and winter is the season when the entire mountain is covered in ice like a snow monster. As you can see, Tohoku has four beautiful seasons, each with its own unique activities.
In addition, the Tohoku region is also rich in scenes from the daily lives of its people. At times you will feel nostalgic, and at other times you will be filled with great surprises and emotions that you can only experience there.
Why not take a trip to Tohoku beyond your imagination, visiting countless wonderful places and having precious experiences that you will treasure for a lifetime?
