Since 2020, we have been working on a farm stay project in Kakegawa, one of the most prominent tea production areas in Shizuoka Prefecture, a major tea producing area.
While we hear that there is a shortage of matcha due to the global matcha boom, the sencha produced in Kakegawa has been losing its popularity among consumers, and farmers are constantly leaving the area.In order to pass on the tea production area to the next generation and the Japanese food culture to the next, we have prepared a variety of programs that allow you to enjoy the tea of this region with all five senses.In particular, for inbound visitors, we will introduce Japanese food culture through the traditional way of life with tea, and for educational tours and general groups, we will introduce SDGs learning through tea cultivation using the "Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS)
