Cordoba Local Tourist Board
The Cordoba Local Tourism Board (IMTUR) serves as the official tourism organisation of the
Córdoba City Council. Its mission is to promote Córdoba as a destination and to support the
sustainable development of the city's tourism sector. To fulfil this mission, it operates
through, among others, the following departments:
• Tourist Information and Visitor Services Department, responsible for providing
information and assistance to tourists and visitors.
• Promotion Department, responsible for national and international promotional
activities; the organisation and coordination of familiarisation trips and hosted visits
for tourism industry professionals; advertising and sponsorship; the management of
the official website and social media channels; and the production of promotional
materials and merchandising.
• Convention Bureau, responsible for promoting Córdoba as a destination for the
MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) sector and coordinating
activities related to this market segment.
