The Kurima Island Coexistence Stay Program is a new, high-value travel product centered on Kurima Island (Miyako City, Okinawa), a small community of roughly 140 residents. Built around five themed "coexistence" experiences — the sea, the soil, island wildlife, spiritual culture (utaki, the island's sacred groves), and food, including otori, a local ritual of sharing cups around a communal meal — the program shifts visitors from passive sightseeing, currently averaging just 1-2 hours on the island, into active participants in daily island life.

The program is operated by a joint venture: Maluna GK oversees the project; Rakuen no Kajitsu Ltd., a 20-plus-year organic farming and retail operator on Kurima, develops the experience content and trains local guides; and Gransino Inc. handles product commercialization, marketing, and PR. Local fishers, farmers, the island's women's association, and community leaders take part directly as "coexistence guides."

Two core markets are targeted: domestically, sustainability-minded urban travelers seeking authentic connection with nature, food, and people; internationally, wellness- and longevity-focused travelers from the US, Europe, and Australia drawn to Okinawa's Blue Zones reputation and growing interest in Slow Living and community.

The product is structured in three tiers: a Light Plan (3 nights / 4 days, from JPY 80,000) for first-time and repeat visitors; a Standard Plan (7-10 days, from JPY 150,000) for deeper immersion; and a fully private Premium Plan (from JPY 350,000) for high-value, low-density travel, well suited to offsetting Miyako's slow winter season, when the island's agricultural offerings are richest.
