Inagi City is a city that boasts rich nature and diverse tourism resources, despite being located in a place with easy access from the center of Tokyo. The city transmits its charms based on four pillars of tourism: "Satoyama/Nostalgia," "Mechanic," "Sports," and "Amusement." It is packed with highlights, including agricultural resources led by the specialty product "Inagi Pears," parks used as filming locations for TV dramas and movies, as well as monuments and design manholes of anime content designed by mechanical designer Kunio Okawara. Furthermore, it is also popular as a "Bicycle City," where visitors can casually tour around utilizing shared cycle ports located throughout the city, while also enjoying full-scale cycling along the Tama River and Misawa River.
