Tourism EXPO Japan 2026
Honshu-Shikoku Bridge Expressway Company Limited
Honshu-Shikoku Bridge Expressway Company Limited (HSBE) operates three expressway routes linking Honshu and Shikoku: the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway (Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Onaruto Bridge), the Seto-Chuo Expressway (Seto-Ohashi Bridge), and the Nishi-Seto Expressway (Shimanami Kaido). In addition to managing and operating these bridges and expressways, HSBE works closely with local communities to promote the attractions of the Setouchi and Shikoku regions.
Visitors can enjoy spectacular views from the bridge towers of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, Seto-Ohashi Bridge, and Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge through our infrastructure tours, which provide access to areas normally closed to the public. Our Service Areas and Parking Areas also offer local specialties, regional cuisine, and attractive places to stop during a journey.
HSBE supports a variety of tourism experiences, including "Shikoku Megulink," a stamp-rally program that encourages visitors to explore restaurants and tourist attractions across Shikoku, the "Setouchi Museum Network," which connects museums and art galleries throughout the Setouchi region, and cycling experiences along the Shimanami Kaido.
Discover the charm of the Setouchi and Shikoku regions through breathtaking scenery, local cuisine, art, cycling, and many other attractions connected by our iconic bridges.
