Tourism EXPO Japan 2026
Niyodo Blue Tourism Council
The Niyodo River, which flows through Kochi Prefecture on Shikoku, is a miraculous, crystal-clear stream that represents Shikoku—it has been named the "river with the best water quality" a total of nine times in surveys conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
In addition to the breathtaking views of the clear, blue "Niyodo Blue," each of the six municipalities offers its own unique travel attractions, including kayaking and SUP experiences on the gently flowing river, paper-making workshops for "Tosa Washi"—which boasts over 1,000 years of history—and "sake" brewed using underground spring water from the clear river.
On industry-only days, we will hold detailed meetings to help you design tours based on the latest information about the Niyodo River area.
Please feel free to consult with us about all aspects of local coordination, including recommended stops and how to plan your itinerary.
We will also provide information on subsidy programs for group tours and the free loan of image materials.
We sincerely look forward to welcoming you.
