A new form of tourism called 'Learning Tourism' is emanating from Mie to the world. It is being promoted from Mie Prefecture, located in the central part of Japan. This is an attractive place where rich nature changes with the seasons and industries supporting Japan's craftsmanship are concentrated. Many management leaders from overseas companies visit Mie Prefecture for the purpose of 'learning about industries.'
