On the other hand, in Noto, located in the north of Ishikawa Prefecture, the northern sea area is a reef zone and the southern sea area is steeply deep. Nanao Bay, located in the center of Ishikawa Prefecture, has calm waters.
As a result, a wide variety of fisheries are operated throughout the prefecture, and a rich variety of fresh and seasonal fish species are landed each season.
