Slow tourism is a way to immerse oneself in Japan's original landscape of Satoyama and Satoumi, and to experience the culinary culture and climate of the area.
The efforts spreading to Noto's Satoyama and Satoumi, which is recognized as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems(GIAHS),as well as Mt.Hakusan's foothills and other areas.
Take a special moment to be touched by the stories of "food" created by various craftsmen such as "agriculture, forestry and fishermen," "chief sake brewer," "lacquer craftsman," "chefs," and so on.
