Tourism EXPO Japan 2025 Aichi/Central Japan

Ikaruga Chamber of Commerce and Ikaruga
Travel and tourism professionals, Ikaruga Town is home to much more than just the World Heritage Site of Horyu-ji Temple. It boasts numerous historical and cultural resources, including Hoki-ji Temple, another World Heritage Site; Chuguji Temple and Horin-ji Temple, both of which house numerous national treasures and important cultural properties; the Nishizato streetscape, home to the carpenters who supported Horyu-ji Temple; and the Fujinoki Kofun, home to numerous precious, unlooted grave goods. The town also boasts abundant natural resources, including the Tatsuta River, which was mentioned in a poem by the Heian-period poet Ariwara no Narihira and has long been known as a famous spot for viewing autumn leaves. The Ikaruga Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry is working with local businesses to develop and certify "Ikaruga Brand" products, a regional brand that utilizes local resources, with the aim of attracting more tourists to Ikaruga Town, which boasts such rich historical and cultural resources and abundant nature, and ensuring longer stays and a more satisfying experience. Our brand is based on the concept of "Ikaruga-ness" and currently offers a diverse lineup centered around "experiences," "meals," and "souvenirs," so please stop by our booth and consider it as an optional tour for your Ikaruga/Nara sightseeing.
