Additionally, Hakusan City is promoted as a 'railway town,' with the Hokuriku Shinkansen, Hokuriku Railway (a local line), and IR Ishikawa Railway running through it. On March 13th of this year, the Hakusan High-Speed Railway Visitor Center 'Train Park Hakusan,' an experiential facility adjacent to the Hokuriku Shinkansen vehicle base, also opened.
