Kumano Kodo Daimon-zaka Slope, Kumano Nachi Taisha Grand Shrine, Seiganto-ji Temple, Nachi Waterfall, and Fudarakusan-ji Temple celebrated the 20th anniversary of World Heritage registration on July 7, 2024.
Also, Nachi Katsuura is known for being the number one location in Japan for fresh tuna catch using longline fishing, and Katsuura Onsen features the highest number of hot springs in Wakayama Prefecture.
