Kanazawa City promotes "responsible tourism" that allows both travelers and the local community to experience happiness together, and is implementing initiatives under the "Kanazawa City SDGs Tourism" program to achieve sustainable tourism that harmonizes with the lives of its citizens. Furthermore, to promote sustainable tourism, the city certifies local lodging providers working toward the achievement of the Kanazawa SDGs, as well as businesses offering travel products focused on the city, as "Kanazawa SDGs Tourism Promoting Businesses" based on their specific efforts.
