Adventure Indonesia is a licensed Indonesian travel agency based in Jakarta and Bali, specializing in tours that let travelers enjoy nature, culture, and adventure.

We operate a wide variety of nature and adventure tours throughout the Indonesian archipelago. Our offerings include climbing Carstensz Pyramid, the highest peak on the island of Papua; other mountain expeditions; tropical rainforest trekking; river trips and white-water rafting; traversing the island of Borneo; orangutan and Komodo dragon tours; and tours that visit the indigenous peoples of Kalimantan and Toraja while experiencing Indonesian festivals. We also organize photography trips, company outings, educational tours, and everything from casual vacations to full-scale outdoor expeditions.

With many years of experience in organizing tours, we have numerous clients both in Indonesia and abroad. Our customers include honeymooners, middle-aged and senior travelers, filmmakers, researchers, photographers, mountaineers, and many others. In addition to adventure travel, we also offer sightseeing tours to famous destinations such as Bali and Yogyakarta.

We ourselves are travelers and adventurers. Monty Sorongan, the President and Chairman of Adventure Indonesia, successfully summited Mount Everest from both the Nepalese and Tibetan sides. In recognition of this achievement, he was awarded a medal by the President of Indonesia. From 1996 to 2003, he also served as a public relations representative for the Nepal Tourism Board in Indonesia. In addition, he was active as the Director of the Nature Tourism Division of the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA), Indonesia's only official travel industry association.

We are members of the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA), the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), and the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA, Membership No. 1814). In addition to our offices in Jakarta and Bali, we have offices in Kalimantan (Borneo), Wamena in Papua, Toraja in Sulawesi, and Labuan Bajo on Flores. All of our tours are operated directly by our own company. We are also recognized by overseas travel agencies as a reliable local travel company in Indonesia.
