Tourism EXPO Japan 2026

Aichi Prefecture

Aichi Prefecture, centered around Nagoya, is a fascinating destination filled with diverse attractions. The Owari region is rich in history and traditional culture, while the Mikawa region offers beautiful natural scenery and a strong manufacturing heritage.
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of experiences, including historical tours of sites associated with famous samurai warlords such as Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu, as well as castles, gardens, and historic roads. Aichi also offers industrial tourism showcasing its world-renowned manufacturing industries, seasonal natural landscapes, unique local cuisine, and traditional performing arts and festivals that have been passed down through generations.

In 2026, Aichi is attracting growing attention through the NHK historical drama "BROTHERS IN ARMS", which portrays Toyotomi Hideyoshi and his younger brother Hidenaga, both closely connected to Aichi.
At the same time, Aichi is generating great excitement as the host of the 20th Asian Games (September 19 to October 4) and the 5th Asian Para Games (October 18 to October 24).

At the Aichi Prefecture Booth, visitors can take part in fun activities for the whole family, including a quiz rally lottery, dice games, and stage performances. Municipalities and tourism organizations from across the prefecture will also be on hand to provide travel information and offer hands-on experiences showcasing the unique character of their local areas.
This is a great opportunity to discover the many charms of Aichi and find inspiration for your next trip.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Aichi Prefecture Booth!
