The Hida Regional Tourism Council is composed of Gifu Prefecture along with three cities and one village—Takayama City, Hida City, Gero City, and Shirakawa Village—working together as a unified region to promote tourism.

By widely promoting the charms of the Hida region, such as its rich natural landscapes and diverse traditional culture, and by actively attracting both domestic and international tourists while enhancing the welcoming environment for visitors, the Council aims to increase visitor traffic and revitalize the local communities.
