The Tourism Forecast Platform provides large-scale travel and accommodation data, including approximately 200 million historical overnight stays (as of June 1, 2026), along with forward-looking reservation data covering up to six months.
By leveraging tourism-related data, the platform enables those responsible for regional planning to access the latest data necessary for developing effective strategies. Users can view visitor demand forecasts by region, combining current booking trends with historical performance data. This allows for a shift from decision-making based on past experience and intuition to the development and implementation of data-driven, evidence-based regional initiatives.
In addition to accommodation data, the platform also incorporates mobility data derived from mobile location information, as well as consumption data based on cashless payment transactions.
