Tourism EXPO Japan 2026

Tokoname City

Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, is known as a town of ceramics and lucky cats, located just a short distance from Chubu Centrair International Airport.
At the Tokoname booth, visitors can experience an immersive space inspired by the city's popular Tokoname Pottery Footpath, offering the feeling of actually being in Tokoname.
Inside the booth, we will introduce Tokoname's unique local resources through tastings of freshly grilled Onizaki seaweed and a Japanese tea-serving experience using Tokoname-yaki teapots. The tea will be served with teapots crafted by a local teapot artisan, allowing visitors to experience the craftsmanship, culture, and regional appeal of Tokoname.
With its convenient access from the airport, Tokoname offers a wide range of possibilities, including short-stop tourism for airport users, inbound travel experiences, industrial tourism, and programs for MICE and group travel.
We will showcase Tokoname's distinctive tourism content for travel agencies, media representatives, local governments, and tourism professionals. Please visit the Tokoname booth and discover what the city has to offer.
