The Japan RV Association (JRVA) is an industry organization composed of members such as RV manufacturers and dealers who are engaged in activities to promote the use of RVs, develop the market, and improve the infrastructure, with the aim of fostering a culture of road trips and overnight stays in vehicles under the theme "Let's Establish a RV Culture in Japan!" The Japan RV Association (JRVA) promotes "drive tourism" (road trips and overnight stays in RVs) in this event.

According to data surveyed, compiled, and released by the Japan RV Association (JRVA), the number of recreational vehicles (RVs) in Japan—which has continued to rise since the survey began in 2005—surpassed 100,000 in 2016 and reached 173,000 by 2025, making "road trips" in RVs a growing trend. Furthermore, thanks to the recent boom in inbound tourism, rental RVs are being used not only by international visitors but also by many Japanese travelers, and "drive tourism" is becoming increasingly popular.

In response to the growing demand for RV travel, the Japan RV Association (JRVA) has been certifying "RV Parks"—facilities where travelers can sleep comfortably and safely in their vehicles—since 2012. Currently, there are more than 670 RV Parks nationwide, supporting everyone's comfortable RV travel experiences.

At the JRVA booth of the Japan RV Association, we will be showcasing RVs and displaying informational panels to give visitors a firsthand experience of the charm and joy of road trips that connect people and communities, as well as the various ways RVs can be used. We hope to see you there!

Furthermore, while options for buying souvenirs are limited when traveling by plane, a RV allows you to visit various locations to purchase souvenirs, buy locally grown vegetables and fish to cook on board, and enjoy fresh, local ingredients. Another unique feature of RV travel is the ease with which you can bring home heavy souvenirs—such as local alcoholic beverages and fresh produce—as well as items that require refrigeration.
