Tourism EXPO Japan 2026

Ishikawa Prefecture / Ishikawa Prefecture Tourism Association

Ishikawa Prefecture is home to the majestic natural beauty of sacred Mount Hakusan, the Noto Peninsula where the timeless landscapes of satoyama and satoumi still thrive, and Kanazawa, a castle town that continues to carry on the history and culture of Kaga Hyakumangoku.
Ishikawa is filled with attractions that leave a lasting impression on travelers, including beautiful seasonal scenery, relaxing hot springs, rich cuisine blessed by both the sea and mountains, and traditional culture and craft experiences passed down through generations.
In Ishikawa, each area—Kanazawa, Kaga, Hakusan, and Noto—offers its own distinct charm. In every place you visit and with every person you meet, you will find moments and stories that can only be experienced here.
We invite you to discover your own special journey in Ishikawa. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you.
The Noto region suffered significant damage from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024. However, together with local communities, the region continues to move forward step by step toward recovery and reconstruction. Visiting Noto and enjoying its landscapes, cuisine, and encounters with local people is also a meaningful way to support its recovery.
