A huge variety of monuments and natural richness await anyone who wants to discover Małopolska, a region in the southern part of Poland. It is one of 16 voivodeships and its capital is Krakow. Every year, it hosts millions of tourists from Poland and abroad. This unique region is famous for its architectural gems, numerous health resorts with mineral waters, wonderful hiking, cycling and skiing trails and an exceptional concentration of monuments, including 14 sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List. There is something for everyone here, both lovers of traditional cuisine, lovers of physical activity, people who care about entertainment, as well as lovers of peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. The region is full of national parks and landscape parks, as well as natural monuments, numbering not in hundreds, but thousands. In addition, the peaks of the Tatra Mountains, alpine mountains hidden in the clouds, the picturesque rocks of the Kraków - Częstochowa Upland with the ruins of the medieval Eagle's Nests, the Dunajec Gorge in the Pieniny Mountains, which brings to mind landscapes from a fairy tale... It's hard to believe that so many impressions, emotions and incredible experiences can be found in one region!
