Tourism EXPO Japan 2025 Aichi/Central Japan

Yumoto Choza
This is an authentic old private house ryokan built using an old private house more than 150 years old. The zelkova structure around the entrance is particularly massive and is a masterpiece of Hida craftsmanship.
The hot spring has four different sources, each with different qualities. There are a total of eight private baths inside and outside the ryokan, all of which are free of charge and can be used as many times as required.
Meals are served in the open-air hearth and are kaiseki cuisine. We place great importance on having guests relive old country meals by actually using the sunken hearth. The main course is Hida beef, and the sunken hearth is lined with grilled river fish, gohei-mochi (rice cakes) and deep-fried pickles, a local speciality.
