Tourism EXPO Japan 2025 Aichi/Central Japan

ETIAS Central Unit of Frontex
The rules for travelling to Europe will change next year. Starting in the last quarter of 2026, Japanese and other visa-free travellers will be required to apply for an ETIAS travel authorisation before heading to 30 European countries for a short visit.
Applying for ETIAS will be simple, you will be able to do it online on the official website europa.eu/etias. All you will need to apply is a passport, an email address and a payment card.
ETIAS is not a visa. Similar travel authorisations for visa-free nationals are required by the US, Canada, Australia and the UK.
The ETIAS Central Unit of Frontex will process applications from travellers and provide support to carriers and travellers.
