The Okinawa Churashima Foundation manages and operates public-interest facilities such as the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, the Ocean Expo Park, and Shurijo Castle Park. At our Research Center, we conduct surveys, research, and technical development on marine life and subtropical plants, as well as education and outreach activities.

Exhibition Highlights

Shurijo Castle Park: Enjoy VR experiences and woodworking workshops using leftover materials. Visitors can also hear rare stories from guides about the castle's restoration.

Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium: Experience the breathtaking large tank via live streaming, interact with our staff, and attend a special mini-lecture on our two bottlenose dolphins, "Oki-chan" and "Muku," who have been with us for 50 years.

Tropical Dream Center: Discover Japan's first and only introductions to certain plant species, along with exclusive footage of plants that bloomed and bore fruit for the first time in the country right here at our facility.

Business Meetings
On September 25 (Thu) and 26 (Fri), we will hold a trade fair and exhibition for members of the tourism industry. If you would like to arrange a meeting with the Foundation, please apply in advance through the "Business Matching System" on the official Tourism EXPO Japan website. We will also accept direct inquiries at the venue.
