The northern region of Okinawa Island, known as "Yanbaru," is a popular tourist destination that thrives on its rich natural environment.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, approximately 5.11 million people visited the northern area annually, making it one of the most visited regions in Okinawa Prefecture.

Yanbaru offers a wide range of nature-based activities such as trekking, sea kayaking, and stargazing. In addition to these experiences, the area is home to major tourist attractions including the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, which boasts the highest visitor numbers in the prefecture, the World Heritage site Nakijin Castle Ruins, and the newly opened JUNGLIA Okinawa in July 2025.

At the Yanbaru booth, tourism associations from Motobu Town, Kunigami Village, Nakijin Village, Ginoza Village, Onna Village, Ie Village, Izena Village, and others are participating.
We are promoting tourism and sharing information from all 12 municipalities in northern Okinawa Island, and we hope to take this opportunity to exchange ideas with many visitors.
