On October 27, 2024 (departing from Japan on October 28), the only direct flights between Japan and Spain will begin. Until now, travel to Spain required transfers, and the journey could take as long as 20 hours or more, which meant the hassle of transfers and stressful transit time. However, with Iberia's direct flights between Narita Airport and Madrid Barajas Airport, flight times have been significantly reduced to just 14 hours or so at the shortest, eliminating the need to worry about transfers.
Iberia is also renowned for the quality of its service, with state-of-the-art aircrafts, a wide variety of in-flight meals and entertainment, and friendly staff to provide a comfortable environment even on long flights.
The launch of direct flights will dramatically improve access to Spain's wonderful tourist destinations, allowing many Japanese tourists to enjoy their attractions.
