This project was jointly launched by the three towns of Tsuruga, Mihama, and Wakasa, located west of Tsuruga Station, the terminus of the Hokuriku Shinkansen, and the Tourism Association that manages tourism in the region. There are a ton of attractive tourist spots, such as the history and townscape of the port town of Tsuruga, the Mikata Five Lakes with their different colors, the beautiful sea of Wakasa Bay, the mountains, and fresh seafood. The Washington Post has listed Fukui Prefecture as one of the spiritual places to visit in 2024, but this is a deep area of Fukui Prefecture that is still unknown.
