MATCHA
We are an inbound leading company that operates MATCHA, one of the largest media outlets for foreigners visiting and living in Japan, under the vision of "A world where the valuable culture of Japan continues to endure with time."
Under the mission of "Expanding the options for people around the world visiting Japan through the power of technology", we support the resolution of issues in inbound tourism in Japan from three aspects: Media Platform Business, Inbound Marketing Business, and MATCHA Contents Manager (MCM).
We broadcast the attractions of all 47 prefectures in Japan in 10 languages to foreigners visiting and living in Japan. So far, more than 20,000 articles have been published. We receive 6.63 million PV and 3.33 million UU accesses per month from 227 countries and regions around the world, and have 1.04 million followers worldwide on Facebook and nearly 40,000 followers on Instagram. Our distinguishing feature is not one-way information delivery, but creating valuable content that includes information that users really need and is read for a long time.
MCM is a service that changes the conventional multilingual information delivery, where those who transmit local tourist information, such as local governments, tourist associations, and DMOs, can freely post to MATCHA, one of the largest visiting media in Japan, in a "short time", "low cost", "multilingual". By introducing MCM, you can solve three problems: "lack of budget and time", "lack of regional recognition", and "don't understand the needs of foreigners".
Utilizing the knowledge of operating the largest media in Japan, we support inbound issues of more than 360 client companies in total with a wide range of solutions, from market research to multilingual site production and video production.
In addition, we have been hosting the "Inbound Summit", where inbound business operators from all over Japan gather, for three years since 2020. In 2023, more than 4,000 participants gathered.
Thanks to the network of media and business operators, we collect various insight data from inside and outside Japan. Based on these, we support the marketing for foreigners visiting and living in Japan in regions and companies. As inbound professionals, we will continue to be a company that contributes to Japanese society.
