Tourism EXPO JAPAN 2024

Ikaruga Chamber of Commerce and Ikaruga

Ikaruga town is located in the north-west of Nara and is home to a number of historical buildings, including Horyu-ji Temple, registered as the first World Heritage Site in Japan. In spring, the cherry blossoms of Mount Mimuro bloom, and in fall, the autumn leaves along the Tatsuta River add colour to the area. This is a place where you can feel the richness of Japanese history and culture and the abundance of nature. This Tatsuta River, which flows through Ikaruga, is also said to be the origin of the word Tatsuta-age (Japanese fired chicken with potato starch batter), and restaurants in the town serve their own unique Tatsuta-age.
The Ikaruga Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry carries out activities for the development of the local community and provides management support to member businesses. As part of its support, the Chamber provides information on various tourist attractions and attractive local products in Ikaruga in order to attract domestic and international tourists to the town.
We are also proud to present our speciality products, so please visit the Ikaruga Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry booth!
