Sumo Entertainment HIRAKUZA is a Japanese entertainment brand creating new ways for international visitors to experience and enjoy Japanese culture, with sumo at its heart.

Beginning with THE SUMO HALL HIRAKUZA OSAKA in 2024 and later expanding to Ginza, Tokyo, HIRAKUZA combines live sumo performances, interactive experiences, Japanese cuisine, engaging explanations of sumo history and culture, and contemporary production to create an accessible and entertaining cultural experience.

All performances are conducted entirely in English, making the experience especially accessible to international visitors.

HIRAKUZA welcomes both FIT and group travelers and offers regular performances, group reservations, private shows and on-site performances. The experience can be incorporated into a wide range of inbound travel products, including group tours, MICE programs and incentive travel.
