Opening in spring 2027 in Ginza, Tokyo, the "Ukiyoe Immersive Art Museum GINZA" will be the first flagship venue born from the "Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition" — an immersive art experience that has drawn a cumulative audience of over 500,000 visitors across nine cities in total: five in Japan and four overseas.
The "Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition" has received the Excellence Award at the CJPF Awards 2025, organized by the Cool Japan Public-Private Platform, and the Gold Winner at the international creative award MUSE Creative Awards 2026. It has also ranked No. 1 across multiple major ranking platforms in Japan, and has earned wide recognition both domestically and internationally for its cultural and artistic value.

Set in Ginza, Tokyo — a destination that draws visitors from around the world, including inbound tourists and luxury travelers — the museum is a cultural hub that brings together cutting-edge technology and Japan's traditional fine arts to share the depth and beauty of ukiyo-e with global audiences. Works by world-renowned ukiyo-e artists, including Katsushika Hokusai's Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, are brought to life through 3DCG animation and projection mapping, alongside original ukiyo-e displays, multilingual commentary in Japanese, English, Chinese, and more, a museum shop, and a gallery.
As we look ahead to our spring 2027 opening, we welcome inquiries from businesses and organizations of all kinds.
