Sapporo Satoland, officially known as the Sapporo Agricultural Experience and Exchange Center, is a hands-on recreational facility designed to create a rural environment where visitors can relax, enjoy themselves, and learn through direct interaction with agriculture and nature. Based on the themes of "connecting people with agriculture and nature" and "the coexistence of urban life and agriculture," the facility also serves as a hub for promoting Sapporo's urban agriculture.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of experiences, including harvesting vegetables and making butter by hand. Other activities include touring the grounds on the SL bus and feeding sheep and goats.
During the winter season, Satoland also offers a wide range of winter activities that make full use of its vast grounds.
