Okinawa Prefecture is the only one of Japan's 47 prefectures with a department dedicated to promoting karate, working to share "Okinawa, the Birthplace of Karate" with the world. In August 2026, Okinawa hosted the 3rd Okinawa Karate World Festival, welcoming many karate practitioners from around the world. We offer a wide range of experiences that can be incorporated into travel products, such as tours of the Okinawa Karate Kaikan and training sessions at local Dojos.
