Tourism EXPO Japan 2026
KOUBA no SAITEN 2026
The Tsubame-Sanjo region in Niigata Prefecture has garnered significant attention as a successful model for regional revitalization and industrial tourism in Japan. At Tourism EXPO Japan, we will be showcasing the new frontier of industrial tourism pioneered by the Tsubame-Sanjo Factory Festival.
Our goal is to elevate Tsubame-Sanjo into a world-class industrial tourism destination.
Today, this ecosystem is expanding significantly. Beyond welcoming general tourists, it has become a thriving venue for student school trips focused on inquiry-based learning, as well as corporate training retreats. The authentic, immersive experience of the manufacturing floor—where visitors can feel the breath of the artisans and hear the roar of the machinery—serves as a powerful catalyst for profound learning and exploration.
At our booth, we will present the full scope of this year's Factory Festival, which will be held from October 1st to 4th. Furthermore, we will introduce how our entire community is working together to build a welcoming framework for educational and corporate groups, and outline our future vision for industrial tourism rich in educational value.
