Exclusive Opportunity: Expand Your Agency's Portfolio with Angola - Africa's Emerging Destination
Dear Tourism Industry Professional,
In 2026, Angola launched a robust strategy to strengthen its presence in the international tourism market by introducing the "Visit Angola" brand at ITB Berlin, the world's largest tourism trade fair. Angola played a historic role as the official host country of the event, which took place from March 3 to 5, 2026, at the City Cube Berlin.
More details about the event can be found at:
https://www.itb.com/en/press/press-releases/news_26180.html
This initiative by the Angolan Government is complemented by a visa exemption policy for citizens of more than 100 countries, in force since 2024, including Japan, China, South Korea, Indonesia, India, and many others, under Presidential Decree No. 189/23. The policy allows stays of up to 30 days per entry, with a maximum of 90 days per year.

As part of its economic diversification strategy, Angola has been investing significantly in tourism, moving beyond its traditional image as an oil-dependent economy.
The country offers:
Ecotourism and Natural Landscapes: Unique destinations such as Kissama National Park, breathtaking coastlines where the desert meets the ocean, and vast unspoiled natural scenery.
Culture and Heritage: A rich cultural identity reflected in its historical heritage, gastronomy, music, traditions, and local communities.
Travel Facilitation: Recent partnerships with financial institutions, such as BAI Bank, provide integrated financial solutions for tour operators and travelers.
