In March 2017, seven municipalities—Yamaguchi City, Ube City, Hagi City, Hofu City, Mine City, Sanyo-Onoda City, and Tsuwano Town in Shimane Prefecture—formed the "Yamaguchi Central Collaboration Urban Area." This collaborative region is affectionately known as "Yamaguchi Yume Kairo."
We're working together across the entire region to boost vitality and improve livability. Our initiatives include utilizing local tour guides, creating destination-based tourism content, and collaborating on unique venues and excursions for MICE events.
