Visit Seattle / State of Washington Tourism

Visit Seattle is a private, non-profit destination marketing organization (DMO) serving Seattle and King County. Visit Seattle exists to champion Seattle as a world-class destination for travel and tourism and promote the economic power of travel.
Seattle boasts many attractions for leisure travel such as the famous Pike Place Market, the iconic Space Needle, a plethora of museums, a rich culinary scene, major sports teams, and is surrounded by the unrivaled natural beauty of the Puget Sound and evergreen forests. But it is also great for educational and inspection travel as it is the birthplace for many world-renown corporations such as Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, and Boeing. It's a city that offers the best of both worlds—from modern and convenient city life to breathtaking nature!

Situated in the Pacific Northwest region, the State of Washington boasts diverse landscapes, scenic byways, varied climates, and a rich history. State of Washington Tourism (SWT) is the official Destination Marketing and Management Organization for the State of Washington. SWT's work centers around responsibly marketing Washington to visitors and serving as a leader in statewide destination management and stewardship. A key component of our work is supporting rural and underserved communities.
Offering various destinations, including a large urban area surrounding the Puget Sound and Seattle at its core, Washington State is a haven for climbers and nature-lovers, with peaks like Mount Rainier, Mount Adams, and the active Mount St. Helens, as well as scenic destinations such as the Olympic National Park and the San Juan Islands. It is also a major wine producer, with 20 American Viticultural Areas and over 1,000 wineries producing 17 million cases annually in 80 varieties.
From mountains and rainforests to wine country and urban areas, the Evergreen State is a year-round destination!
