JARTA was established in 2018 as the Japan Alliance of Responsible Travel Agencies, with the mission of promoting sustainable tourism. It is a network of committed travel agencies across Japan that aim to contribute to healthy regional development through travel aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
