"TOKYO SKYTREE･EAST TOKYO Association" is a group of four companies from TOKYO SKYTREE, Taito City, Sumida City, and Koto City that disseminates information on sightseeing and other activities in the East Tokyo area.
The Taito, Sumida, and Koto wards, which surround the TOKYO SKYTREE, are home to Japan's traditional downtown scenery and culture from the Edo period.
TOKYO SKYTREE, the symbol of Tokyo, celebrates its 11th anniversary this year, and we are preparing fun events.
Taito City is home to some of Tokyo's most popular tourist spots, including Ueno and Asakusa.
Sumida City is home to the TOKYO SKYTREE and the KOKUGIKAN.
KOKUGIKAN is where sumo wrestlers watch the national sport of sumo.
Koto City is home to the Toyosu Market, which was relocated from Tsukiji, and the Odaiba area.
While there are famous tourist spots in EAST TOKYO that are "the place to be when you think of Tokyo!
The neon-lit Tokyo scenery may not be found in EAST TOKYO. However, it is an area where you can enjoy the everyday scenery of Japan.
