By connecting the four Japan Heritage sites located along the expressways of central Nagano (Chuo Expressway, Nagano Expressway, and Joshinetsu Expressway), we have created a tour that explores the cultural and spiritual roots of rural Japan from the Jomon Period to modern times.
- Yatsugatake area: Journey into the Jomon world, where people lived peacefully in harmony with nature in the forests for over 10,000 years.
- Ueda: Explore the ley line linking ancient ruins and religious sites dedicated to agriculture. These power spots are known as the sacred lands of the sun and earth.
- Chikuma: Visit the Moon Capital, where terraced rice paddies reflect the full moon. These terraces, created by farmers with limited land, are the birthplace of many legends, literature, and traditions.
- Kiso area: Discover traditional crafts developed from efforts to support the local economy through forest preservation.
