Japan Moto Tourism Organization aims to blend Japan's world-renowned tourism resources with the enjoyment of riding motorcycles, fostering and developing a new era of motorcycle tourism.

In Japan, "touring" for the enjoyment of the ride itself, "racing" as a motorcycle competition or hobby, and "spectating races" as a way to watch such events have all taken root as ways to enjoy motorcycles. JMTO was established with the goal of popularizing "moto tourism," which involves enjoying the entire motorcycle trip by adding "slowly enjoying the scenery," "experiencing local traditions and culture," and "having experiences that can only be had in that place" to "touring," which is one way of enjoying motorcycles.

In order to foster and develop a mototourism culture that combines Japan's world-renowned tourism resources with the joy of motorcycling, we will work with the national government, local governments, and the travel-related industry to become a hub for the two-wheeled and travel industries, creating an environment that can disseminate Japan's charms and diverse travel information both domestically and internationally, as well as ensuring safe and secure travel and promoting activities to increase the number of mototourism fans.
